We first met on September 7th, 2018 at a small party in Lincoln and started dating shortly after on October 6th, 2018. Our first official date was at the Cheesecake factory followed up with a Nebraska football game where Sam introduced Liz to his grandpa Dewey and Aunt Kelly.

Liz was living in Omaha attending UNO while Sam lived in Lincoln attending SCC. We traveled back and forth most weekends to see each other, until Liz decided to move to Lincoln. We both knew early into our relationship that this was something special and we talked about our futures together very often. We both knew this day was coming, it was just a matter of time.

Some of our favorite memories together were made during our college years. From all the parties held at Latitude (Sam's apartment) to going back to Holdrege to spend summers at the lake or on the farm. We are blessed to have met some life-long friends and have the most supportive families.

After three years we moved to Omaha together where Sam worked as a fitness trainer and Liz attended The College of Saint Mary. Sam was a very supportive partner helping Liz study for endless exams and tolerating her crazy schedule as a full time student and waitress. Liz returned the favor when Sam began studying for his insurance license.

During Spring break 2024 Sam and Liz took a trip with their friends Jake and Regan to Moab, Utah. We spent our time hiking, sight seeing, and jeeping. On our second day we hiked a 2 mile trail called Fishers Tower. Jake helped Sam plan the whole thing, in fact Sam didn't realize he was proposing until the morning of the hike when Jake approached Sam saying "you got the ring, right." At the top of the hike Sam casually asked Liz to take a picture and in that moment Sam got down on one knee to propose. Liz obviously said "yes!"

Once Liz graduated we moved back to Lincoln so Sam could pursue his career at Farmers Insurance and Liz began working at Heartland Speech and OT as an Occupational Therapist. Which brings us to the present time of wedding planning and enjoying this life together.

We have been fortunate to travel many places together throughout our 6 years of dating including some of our favorites; New York City, Jamaica, Chicago, Nashville, Moab, and San Diego/LA, Las Vegas, Idaho, and Colorado.

We're so excited to see you on our wedding day! Thank you for all of your support and love. We wouldn't be where we are today without our friends and family!
